About Technology with Trust

I have more than two decades of experience across technology and cybersecurity, including more than a decade and a half in financial services.

I began my career as a software engineer, spending more than a decade developing enterprise applications. That foundation continues to shape my approach to security architecture and engineering: designing secure enterprise systems and cloud environments, and considering how security works in practice across the systems people build and run.

My work also spans technology risk and governance. I apply that experience to questions of securing AI systems and adopting AI responsibly.

Writing for shared understanding

Technology with Trust explores security alongside the wider business and technology questions it touches. I write for people across an organisation: security specialists, technical teams, business colleagues, and leaders who may not work directly with technology.

I aim to explain complex topics in clear, practical language without assuming a technical background or losing important detail. The goal is to help readers understand the issue, weigh the trade-offs, and see what decisions or actions may follow.

Security, risk, and leadership

These articles are intended for people who shape decisions about security and technology: CISOs and security leaders, as well as CEOs and other executives who need to understand risk, set priorities, and decide how security supports the organisation. My aim is to make those conversations clearer and offer practical perspectives that leaders and teams can use.

The views expressed here are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of any current, former, or future employer.
